about bill mohr

I grew up in Bucks County Pennsylvania. We lived on my mother’s family farm until I was seven, when post-war industrialization uprooted the family and we moved into town, Morrisville, where my father’s family lived.  After high school and a two year junior college, I enlisted in the Army for three years. Taking advantage of the GI Bill, I returned to studying art, earning a BFA from The Philadelphia College of Art (now The University of the Arts) and an MFA degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.  I arrived in Albuquerque the last day of the balloon festival in 1976 and soon started a commercial photography business. I am now retired and living in an old adobe house on wonderful property in Albuquerque's South Valley. Many of my sensibilities and values are influenced by growing up in a farming/blue collar family of the mid 1940s.
